Peter Sharman – Assistant Broker
Peter Sharman joined DTC as a security officer in 1975 having completed 25 years military service in the Brigade of Guards attaining the rank of Colour-Sergeant. In 1979, the same year as No 17 Charterhouse Street was opened, Peter was appointed Security & Administration Officer of 2nd floor sales, a position which he held until 1996, when he retired from the DTC and joined H. Goldie as Assistant Broker, ensuring the smooth running of Sight week by liasing with clients and DTC Executives, looking after clients in the viewing rooms, providing essential admin support and continuing a long tradition of welcoming warm and friendly service to DTC clients.
Mark Walker: Branding and Marketing Director
Mark is "excited and inspired to be helping with the all-important new phase of the World Diamond Industry – creativity, innovation, brands and communication".
Sharookh Kocheck:
Chief Executive Officer, Mumbai
sharookh has been in charge of Goldie’s Indian office for 14 years. He is one of the most well known and popular brokers in the Indian diamond market and highly respected throughout the industry.
Mark Boston: Chairman
Has reached the 40th year of his long voyage of discovery into the fascinating and often very challenging world of the international diamond business.
Joti Thanki:
Receptionist/Admin Assistant
Miss Joti Thanki joined the company in January 2002 as Chief receptionist and administrative assistant.
Jyoti is fluent in Gujerati and provides essential support to client and team members
and is particularly active during the sight assisting clients with their travel and hotel arrangements
Carol Miller:
Accountant
Mrs Carol Miller has been connected with H.Goldie and Co as Company Accountant since 1987 then joining the company full time from the beginning of April 2004 when she will be assuming further resposibility for the financial management of the Company. She brings with her considerable experience in all aspects of Accounting and financial control.
Janice White: Company Secretary
Mrs Janice White is the longest serving member of H.Goldie & Company having joined in 1957 having previously worked for the National Provincial Bank.
She started as Executive secretary to Cedric Goldie and was appointed Company Secretary in 1980, a position she retains today.
Shirley Sandford:
Office Co-ordinator
Shirley has provided the company and it's clients with a unique unfailingly cheerful and exemplary service since she joined the company in 1970 and is as active and cheerful as ever. Her loyalty to the Company and the clients is much appreciated.
Nina Michaels: Administrator
Miss Nina Michaels joined the company straight from A levels initially as receptionist. She works closely with Stephanie on client support activity and has played a significant role in the development of the company’s jewellery activity with clients.
Stephanie Piper: Director
Mrs Stephanie Piper joined the Company from the society of West end theatre managers in 1988, since then Stephanie has played a major role in client development working closely with our Mumbai office. Stephanie has been particularly successful in introducing a high level of IT awareness and capability in all the groups activities and has worked closely with our clients in assisting them in all IT related matters, as well as providing a wide variety of client support activity both in London and abroad as required.
